Fine Dining Server
Ideal candidate will have two years of fine dining experience.  In addition, will have exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Upon completion of our training program applicants shall have:

  • Full knowledge of menu/bar/wine.
  • Exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to suggestively sell and advise customers on cooking methods, ingredients, menu options.
  • Communicate with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints.
  • Provide guests with daily specials, happy hour specials, and upcoming promotions
  • Collect payment from customers.
  • Enforce rules and regulations in regard to alcohol consumption/purchase.
  • Be a team player and a part of our family.

Additional Requirements

Fine dining experience is preferred but not required.

Host/Hostess
Being the first impression at our establishment it is critical.  Our host/hostesses must be friendly, outgoing, courteous, well dressed, well spoken and calm under pressure.

Duties include:

  • Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests
  • Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
  • Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
  • Knowledge of Open Table software (very helpful).
  • Takes names on a waiting list and advise of wait times.
  • Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
  • Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area.
  • Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
  • Interacts with guests as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.

Busser
Our bus staff ensures that the dining room, lobby and service areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing. Busser assists servers in properly serving food and beverages. Cleans, clears and re-sets tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest.

Host/Hostess

Busser

Job Brief
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

Sous Chef
We are looking for a professional Sous Chef to be the second in command in our kitchen, following our Executive Chef’s specifications and guidelines. The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our guests’ satisfaction.

Sous Chef will supervise in the absence of the Executive Chef.  Must be able to supervise a minimum of three full time people in the preparation of food.

  • Work with the executive chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the Andiamo policy and vision.
  • Producing highest quality plates in both design and taste.
  • Enforces Chef’s policies upon the staff, including discipline.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards and organize the work so that everything runs like a “well-oiled machine”
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
  • Order supplies and stock inventory by Andiamo standards.
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
  • Monitor the side work of all BOH employees.
  • Perform line checks as directed by Executive Chef.
  • Discover talented chefs and train them in order to reach the high standards of the location.

  • Communicate with other team members during every minute of the shift.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Demonstrate good personal hygiene as well as cleaning and sanitizing skills.
  • Ability to follow direction including verbal, visual and written.
  • Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving as directed by chef and other team members.
  • Ability to identify all different types of foods from meats and seafood to produce and grocery items. Also know where they belong and how to properly rotate these items.

Pantry Chef/Garde Manger Job Description

Responsible for cold foods, including salads and dressings, patés, cold hors d'oeuvres, and desserts.

  • Must be reliable, hard-working and understand their value to the total team.
  • Arrive to work on time and in proper uniform.
  • Prepares all dressing, vinaigrettes and accompanying garnishes for all pantry menu items.
  • Set-up and see that pantry station is ready to serve fifteen (15) minutes prior to lunch and dinner service.
